Job Description -  Hyperion Consultant

Responsible for working on implementations of Oracle-Hyperion EPM for Kerdock clients. As an Associate Consultant, you would be working as part of a project team that includes a Kerdock Project Manager as well as client personnel. This position includes both technical consultants responsible for infrastructure, customization, and integration of Hyperion applications; as well as functional consultants who possess a deep understanding of corporate accounting concepts including: financial reporting, budgeting and planning, consolidations, and SOX compliance.

This position requires 80% - 100% travel. What this means is that you would be required to travel to the client site Monday through Friday (sometimes Monday through Thursday) and log in a minimum of 40 billable hours. Kerdock’s projects are mostly in Texas, but we have several out-of-state clients. Typical projects can last anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months. Note that this position is Houston based.

Skills Required:

• 3 years experience implementing, customizing and integrating financial applications

• 3 years experience in financial reporting and budgeting and SOX compliance

• 2 years experience in software development using Java, Visual Basic and SQL Server

• Master's in Business Administration

• Ability to travel 80% - 100%

Technical Skills:

• SQL Programming
• Knowledge of OLAP Technologies
• Java and .NET
• Scripting language such as JavaScript of VB Script
• General knowledge of operating systems, RDMBS platforms, and web technologies
