Kerdock Takes home four awards from Oracle and is named
one of Houston's Fastest Growing Technology Companies.
November 1, 2009 - Houston, Texas
Recently, Kerdock Consulting has received a number of industry awards and recognitions.
In September of this year, Kerdock Consulting was recognized at the Oracle University Partner Summit with Sales Excellence Award for fiscal year 2009. Jason Schiedemeyer, Director of the Oracle University partner program, presented this award to Kerdock’s Education Sales team at the OU Partner summit in San Francisco. This represents a significant milestone for Kerdock, marked by a 150% increase in education revenue over last year.
At the Oracle OpenWorld conference in October, Kerdock brought home the 2009 Innovation Award (BI/EPM category) for its project with Continental Airlines. This project, which included the implementation of Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management, and Hyperion Strategic Finance on a global basis, was completed on time and on budget. It was also one of the first large-scale implementations of Hyperion’s EPM version 11 platform.
Kerdock received a Titan Award Honorable Mention in the BI/EPM category, also for the Continental project. This highly competitive category received over 20 nominations this year, resulting in 1 winner and 2 honorable mentions. “While we would have preferred to win the category outright,” said Emil Fernandez, President of Kerdock, “We are pleased to be recognized with an Honorable Mention. We plan on coming back next year with another strong showing.”
Kerdock also received a Titan Award Honorable Mention in the System Integrator/Value Added Reseller category. This category recognizes Kerdock’s strong growth in the resell and co-sell area with the Oracle sales team. Again, this is a very competitive category and Kerdock is proud to earn this recognition. Kerdock was one of only a handful of partners to be recognized for a Titan Award in more than one category.
Finally, Kerdock has been recognized by the Houston Business Journal as one of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Houston. “We are extremely proud of this accomplishment,” said Emil Fernandez. “We were able to show strong revenue growth through 2008, even in a recessionary environment. I think this speaks to the quality of our work and the importance that companies place on Enterprise Performance Management Solutions.” This is the 2nd year in a row that Kerdock has been recognized for a Fast Tech 50 award.
These awards validate Kerdock’s commitment to its customers, and distinguish Kerdock as an industry leader in the Oracle space. “While customer satisfaction is our number one priority,” said Fernandez, “It’s rewarding to receive industry recognitions from your peers. Those in the industry can be your toughest critics, which makes these awards all the more meaningful.”
